Do I need a prescription for Fertility Scope™?
No. You do not need a prescription to purchase Fertility Scope™.
What is Fertility Scope™?
Fertility Scope™ is a miniature microscope which allows you to monitor your fertility cycle and be able to predict, on a daily basis, when you are most likely to conceive following sexual intercourse.
How does it work?
Hormonal changes in a woman's body just prior to ovulation are detected by observing a sample of dried saliva through the Fertility Scope™ auto-focus ocular lens. Microscopic crystalline structures appear as "fern-like" patterns.
When do I take the test?
It is necessary that you test first thing in the morning before rinsing your mouth with water and never after eating, drinking, smoking or brushing your teeth. These activities will interfere with a true reading of your saliva hormonal level and will compromise the accuracy of the results.
How often should I use Fertility Scope™?
It is recommended that you use it daily while maintaining a record of your results. Soon you will begin to recognize the normal patterns for your own body. A Fertility Tester Diary card is included.
How accurate is Fertility Scope™?
Studies have shown that this procedure (studying the changes in saliva) is one of the most accurate methods of fertility testing. Fertility Scope™ is 98% accurate when used according to the instructions.
For what period of time do I test?
We recommend you use your Fertility Scope™ every day for two months to fully understand your results.
What is the ovulation cycle?
The ovulation cycle is the period of time which passes between your peak fertility periods. Each individual will have a different cycle and a different duration in which they are actually at their peak fertility level.
How do I know if I'm ovulating?
Fern leaf patterns are dominant when the saliva specimen is viewed through the Fertility Scope™.
What is the likelihood of conception?
When fern leaf patters are dominant, Ovulation is already occurring or is imminent and conception is highly likely. This is your optimum fertile period. Fertility lasts from 3 days before to 1 day after ovulation.
